The Beast In The Back Garden.

My pet rabbit is crazy. Bingo (yes that really is his name) is living proof that animals can have their own quirky personality. How many rabbits have you met that actually enjoy biting the heads off of daffodils? He doesn’t try to eat them, he just gets pleasure from wandering around the garden, vandalising the plants.
And is it normal for rabbits to eat the things that Bingo eats? He loves to chow down on pink wafer biscuits, fresh banana and any type of chocolate (although Penguins are his favourite). It just isn’t normal, is it? Don’t get me wrong, he does eat vegetables as well but he’ll get a strop on if he doesn’t get his choco fix…
The other weird thing about Bingo is his multiple personality (disorder?). Sometimes he will be all friendly and soppy, wanting nothing more than a good ear rub. But on other occasions he will attack! There will be no apparent reason for this; Bingo does not need a reason. You will innocently walk into the back garden (where he has a free run) and he will lunge at you! The most disturbing part of this is that he actually growls. Until Bingo came along I did not even know that rabbits could growl. I am going to make a a ‘DANGER, ATTACK RABBIT!’ sign to hang on our gate.
He is incredibly nosey and if you are busy doing anything he will be right there to find out what it is. When he has finished investigating he will sprawl out on the grass nearby and watch. And if he decides that he wants some fuss then you will just have to stop what you are doing.
With Bingo around there is never a dull moment. The back garden would not be the same without him.
