The Mysterious Beast.

I keep hearing about people who say they’ve seen one of these so-called ‘big cats’ on the prowl. But are any of these beasts really skulking around in the great British countryside? Well, I happen to think there are. I’ve known a couple of people who are adamant they have seen one and they are not the type who make up silly stories.

Several years ago I had a job where I drove around to various farms delivering animal feed. Not the most exciting task in the world; but hey, it paid. Anyway, on one particular occasion I had a friend with me who had come along for the ride (and you thought that I was sad…). We drove down a great long track in the middle of nowhere and parked the van near a small outbuilding. As I was turning off the engine, my companion began to squeal excitedly about something he could see outside.

Before I could ask him what he was getting so worked up about, he had jumped out of the van and was running around the side of the building. It wasn’t until afterwards, when I knew what he said he’d seen, that I realised how inherently stupid he was being. ‘Oh, look! A black panther. I know, I’ll go and have a much closer look.’ Doh!

As things turned out (thankfully), he never did get a closer look. The beast had disappeared into a meadow full of very long grass. If it had ever been there to begin with, then it was certainly impossible to glimpse again.

And me? Well, I never got to see it at all. I always seem to miss out on things like that! Who knows; maybe it really was there that day… or perhaps he just imagined it. But it’s scary to think that such dangerous creatures really could be on the loose.

One last thing before I go, I have decided it was about time to just get it over with and book the appointment to get that tattoo that I had gotten when I was a teenager removed. It has been annoying me for a really long time now, apparently I have grown out of that whole rebellious stage now. However, I was looking on the page for laser tattoo removal birmingham and I don’t actually know if it will look better afterwards, some of the photos are a little bit questionable! What do you guys think is inferior, a tribal symbol or a faint outline of one
